Anya Resort & Residences, an up-and-coming luxury real-estate development in Tagaytay City, Cavite province, has announced its recent inclusion in the exclusive Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) group.
Members of this group are touted to guarantee guests the highest level of personalized service and the finest amenities in exclusive, small-scale locations.
Anya is one of four SLH-accredited resorts in the Philippines, and the only one that’s just 90 minutes away from Metro Manila.
Of the 1,000 hotel applications received by the SLH yearly, only 5 percent meet the group’s standards and are awarded membership. There are about 520 SLH-member hotels in unique and exclusive places around the world.
The SLH highlights boutique accommodations it recognizes as “champions of small” as the better alternative for travelers who enjoy the finer things in life, which are not necessarily provided by bigger hotel chains.
“Bearing the SLH seal testifies to the impeccable service that Anya will soon offer. Our focus is on providing an experience that is truly rejuvenating, peaceful and very personalized,” said Santiago R. Elizalde, president and chief executive officer of Roxaco Land Corp., which developed the resort, as well as the Club Punta Fuego and Terrazas de Punta Fuego communities.
“Anya’s core values are in harmony with the SLH’s aspirations for thoughtful, detail-oriented accommodations. Quality, rather than quantity, is more important to us. This has guided us in all aspects of planning—from the landscape and building architecture, down to the furniture and the acoustics,” he added.
Set to open in early 2016, Anya covers seven hectares located on the quieter side of the Tagaytay-Calamba Road.
SLH club members may begin booking Anya online once the resort is formally launched. Meanwhile, Anya unit owners will automatically receive preferred membership status from the SLH.
Created with the vision of showcasing the best of Filipino hospitality and service, Anya aims to ensure that every corner is designed to make guests feel very welcome and relaxed.
Complementing the master-planned space is the highly personalized service offered by the Ask-Anya-Assistant. This acts like the guests’ own butler, allowing them to call ahead and have their preferred linens on their bed and toiletries for their bathroom, items that they want stocked up in their refrigerator, or the latest issue of their favorite newspaper or magazine.
Anya’s dining areas will include ultra-casual poolside nibbling and romantic formal settings. These will be managed by the award-winning and Relais & Chateau-recognized chef Emmanuel Stroobant. His culinary concepts will highlight the freshest local produce and a healthy, yet indulgent, dining experience.
From the lush landscaping to the minute details of your room, Anya will act as your home away from home.
