BSP Joins PH Economic Team in Meetings with Investors in New York

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr.  (in left photo) discussed the central bank’s latest inflation outlook, inflation-targeting framework and current account outlook with investors in meetings held on 10 to 11 July 2023 at the Citi headquarters in New York City.

On their part, the Philippine economic managers highlighted the country’s sound macroeconomic fundamentals and game-changing reforms to further open the economy to foreign investors.

These meetings were held on the sidelines of the first-ever Philippine Economic Briefing (PEB) in Canada. With the Governor on the left photo are National Treasurer Rosalia V. De Leon and Finance Undersecretary Zeno Ronald R. Abenoja.
