There are many ways to share gifts, material or immaterial, on Christmas.
Two of them are music and other allied arts.
Take for instance, the pre-Christmas recital of the music students of Nika Music School founded by Shey Placer held at the Entertainment Plaza of the Makati Circuit.
One of its teachers, musician and fashion designer Erick Valena, thought of dedicating the culminating activity to their parents and guests.
“Christmas is just around the corner and in particular, my piano students prepared some musical pieces related to Christmas to the delight of the crowd,” informed Erick.
Meanwhile, some of the kids who graduated and sang their hearts out for the audience were Joliena Pagsinuhan, Maggy Serato, Eleana Gabunada and Anika Angel Dalusong.
On the other side of this artistic earth, Kalawakan Gallery in Quezon City curated through Mitch Garcia an art exhibit participated in by artist-kids, some of whom are children of artists like Ali, Yno and Kai Labora, sons of arts manager and teacher Bon Labora, Xose Luna Dalena, son of visual artist and filmmaker Kiri Dalena.
