Cignal launches Phl’s first super streaming app

Cignal has officially introduced the Cignal Super App, the first-ever streaming aggregator in the Philippines, transforming how Filipinos consume digital content. This innovative platform consolidates multiple streaming services into a single, easy-to-use application, eliminating the need for separate apps, logins, and subscriptions.

This launch marks a significant evolution in Cignal’s business model as it transitions from a traditional pay TV provider to a full-fledged multimedia company. The app offers a unified entertainment experience where users can access a vast array of content—including blockbuster films, binge-worthy series, live television channels, sports events, documentaries, and lifestyle programming—all under one subscription and login.

Tailored to modern viewing habits, the Cignal Super App simplifies an increasingly fragmented streaming landscape. Subscribers are granted access to high-profile content from some of the world’s biggest entertainment providers. These include HBO Originals such as The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, and The White Lotus, along with iconic series and franchises like Friends, the DC superhero films, and the Harry Potter saga through Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s premium platform.

The app also features Lionsgate Play’s library, which includes action-packed franchises such as John Wick and the Has Fallen series. For fans of Asian content, Viu brings in-demand Korean dramas like True Beauty and popular variety shows such as World of Street Woman Fighter.

In addition to on-demand content, the Super App offers live access to over 100 television channels through Cignal Play. Sports fans can tune in to live events via Pilipinas Live, while documentary lovers can explore educational programs through Curiosity Stream. The app also provides family-friendly content from Hallmark+ and contemporary entertainment from Fuse+.

Cignal Super is available in two subscription tiers to accommodate various viewer preferences and budgets. The Premium Plus plan offers full access to all content providers at PHP 799 per month, while the more affordable Premium plan provides a curated content selection at P499 per month. As part of its launch promo running until May 31, 2025, new users can subscribe at discounted rates—P399 per month for Premium Plus and P249 per month for Premium.

Cignal Chief Revenue Officer Gerard L. Milan expressed his excitement about the launch, emphasizing the app’s groundbreaking nature as the country’s first streaming aggregator. He credited the success of international models like Tata Play as a guiding inspiration and expressed optimism that the platform would resonate well with local audiences.

The Cignal Super App is now available for download via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Subscriptions and additional information can also be accessed through the official website at cignalsuper.com, offering Filipino viewers a smarter, more convenient way to enjoy their favorite content.
