“We hope to strengthen our [presence] in the Philippines with the introduction of our best IT [information technology] networking solutions for the enterprise and SMB [small- to medium-sized business] segments,” Christopher Neo, regional sales director of D-Link International in the Philippines, said in a statement.

“Businesses today have very demanding needs, and through these products we want to showcase that we have the experience and expertise [to] address those needs,” he added.

“To optimize the current IT infrastructure, provide scaling options, and drive productivity within enterprises, our cost-efficient IT solutions are able to effectively work and adapt to any business size,” Neo said.

Are you looking for inexpensive, compact and high-performance network switches? Then you must check out D-Link’s DGS-1100 series, made for small or home offices, SMBs, and enterprises that only require simple network management. How inexpensive? The DGS-1100 cost only P20,100 for the eight-port model and P32,900 for the 24-port model.

The 30-year-old Taiwan-headquarted company also has switch solutions and wireless-access point products, including a 10-Gigabit Ethernet smart-managed switch called the DXS-1210-10TS. This switch gives businesses of all sizes the benefits of high performance and the low latency of 10GE.

With this product, priced at P65,000, SMBs can keep up with the growing need for virtualization and server-to-server applications.

“When speed is crucial to huge business-data transmission around the world, 10-Gigabit solutions are the answer,” said Rishi Samadhia, business product marketing director of D-Link. “[The] D-Link 10-Gigabit Ethernet smart switches are an easy-to-manage-and-install option for businesses to increase their network bandwidth without the need for any network overhaul.”

“The switches’ intelligent features enable the automation of traffic prioritization, bandwidth management, and easy resolution of network issues,” he added.

D-Link also introduced wireless solutions, ranging from unified service routers to wireless controllers, developed specifically for branch offices, campuses and businesses that are looking for an easy-to-use wireless network that won’t break their owners’ budget.

These devices let people inside business units experience solid network connectivity wherever they’re in the building.

If you’re thinking of installing affordable surveillance cameras to keep your place of business more secure, D-Link offers the DCS-6113 Full HD PoE Day/Night Fixed Dome Network Camera and DCS-4701E HD Outdoor Mini Bullet Camera.

The company describes them as “professional, full-featured high-definition cameras that capture high-resolution videos, making it easier to view and monitor footage,” adding that “these can also be connected to a network, so users can watch the footage over the internet.

The DCS-6113 is priced at P27,600, while the DCS-4701E costs P12,400. ALVIN I. DACANAY
