Fake news, of all shapes and sizes, is everywhere, in high and low places.
In the glitz and glam world of show business, the latest victim is Megan Young, an actress and 2013 Miss World.
It might not be an offensive and destructive false news but fake just the same.
Megan and husband, actor and TV host Mikael Daez, are obviously excited and thrilled to welcome the visit of the stork.
They can’t wait to kiss and hug their first-born but not in this fashion—getting ahead of the real story or unnatural, forcing through events.
Social media are scattered with photos of Megan clasping a baby to her breast and Mikael carrying the same baby in his chest.
What is worst if not funny are the captions of the socmed pixes which carry the baby’s name Julia contrary to the official reveal of the parents that their baby is a boy. The baby the couple is cuddling is reportedly a niece.
As of this writing, Megan hasn’t given birth yet.
To straighten the distorted news, Young came out with a correction that she is still very much pregnant.
Even the closest of her friends are testifying that the beauty queen is still heavy with a child.
Meanwhile, the Daezes and the Youngs had just held a baby shower recently.
Mikael was extra cool and super excited in his hosting the party.
“Dahil bumibigat na raw ang tiyan ni Boneztis, todo support ako agad (Because her tummy is getting heavier I am full support), literally. We just had the baby shower for our little one and I can proudly say that Boneezy did a beautiful job planning and executing. From painting the backdrop herself to choosing her favorite food, it was such a great day with fam and friends.
The husband, in the same Instagram post, teasingly disclosed that he’s ready to father another one with his wife.
“Of course, kami na rin ang naghost ng (we were the ones who emceed the games and short program (which we both really enjoy doing anyway). I think this means we should have another baby shower soon. Saya eh (It’s fun),” Mikael said.
Megan, on the other hand, was doubly thrilled in giving birth to their baby boy.
“See you soon Baby Daez. Palapit na ng palapit ang due date pero dapat may celebration muna bago mag nesting. Hindi lang pala gala ang cravings ko…kundi pati na rin ang pag host ng (Due date is getting nearer but before that, there should be celebration first before giving birth. I realized it’s not only the gallivanting that I crave for…but hosting as well a) party hahahahah. so happy we got our family and friends together to welcome our little one!! Thanks, Fofo for supporting me with my baby shower vision. Ang saya mag (It’s fun to do a) DIY hehehe and thank you to our family and friends that showered us and Baby Daez with so much love and gift,” noted Young in the IG.
