Ford Philippines was recognized again as the top corporate taxpayer of Muntinlupa City in 2026, reinforcing its commitment to good corporate governance and responsible business practices.
Ford Philippines first made it to the list of top corporate taxpayers in 2014, a year after it moved its corporate headquarters to Alabang in Muntinlupa City. Since then, Ford Philippines has consistently earned the citation as one of the city’s top taxpayers, and has topped the list for many years.
“This important citation is a testament to our commitment to good governance and ethical business operations. We thank the Muntinlupa City for recognizing our contributions to the city as a responsible company, and we look forward to the continued strong partnership with the local government for many years to come,” Pedro Simoes, the managing director of Ford Philippines, said.
Receiving the award on behalf of Ford Philippines is
Kent Primor Ford Philippines director for government and corporate affairs, received the award during Muntinlupa City’s 31st cityhood anniversary last March 2. Also present were: Engr. Allan A. Cachuela, city administrator of Muntinlupa City; Jo-Anne Matas, Ford tax director; Mayor Rozzano Rufino “Ruffy” B. Biazon,; and Gary Llamas, the head of Muntinlupa local economic investment and promotion office.
