THE Philippine Basketball Association brings back its blood donation drive as part of its ongoing celebration for its 50th anniversary foundation.
The charity event is set on May 3 at the green gate of the Smart Araneta Coliseum, with donors entitled to free tickets in the scheduled games pitting the Meralco Bolts against Blackwater Bossing at 5:15 p.m. and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters versus Barangay Ginebra in the 7:30 p.m. main game.
Freebies from PBA sponsors will likewise be given away to all blood donors.
Commissioner Willie Marcial and guest players are expected to be at the venue to check out on the event now on its 6th year.
The blood donation drive will be held from 12 noon to 4 p.m., with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
Registration is until April 30.
The annual project is being held by the PBA in cooperation with the Red Cross and Smart Araneta Coliseum.
