From four Excel files to one system: BossLabs AI shows how local companies are replacing manual work

Case studies in logistics, construction, fuel retail, and manpower services presented at Quezon City media roundtable

QUEZON CITY, Philippines, September 23, 2026. A fuel retailer was spending 10 hours per station every month reconciling inventory. A recycling firm keyed in the same transaction at three separate points. A logistics group kept the books of its four operations in four different Excel files.

BossLabs AI, a technology company based in Imus, Cavite, presented these cases at a media roundtable at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel to describe a common situation among Filipino companies. The businesses are profitable, and the owner covers the gaps in the system with personal time, often late at night.

CoFounder and CEO Michael “Mikey” Manago said the fix in each case was a platform the company owns. With one in place, inventory is matched by software in seconds, a transaction is entered once and carried through the rest of the process, and a group of companies can be viewed in a single report.

The company showed how this works for current clients. A Triple A builder, runs budgets, procurement, schedules, and daily site reports across 21 modules installed on its site engineers’ phones. Engineers log manpower by trade, work accomplished per schedule item, and materials received against purchase orders, then attach progress photos from the phone camera.

At manpower services firm CSI, a contract now flows into deployment, payroll, compliance, and the client invoice without retyping. Signage contractor tracks each job from quote through material costs against estimate, and billing is released only once the job is marked complete. For NBTC youth basketball, BossLabs AI built one portal for the registration and eligibility of more than 30,000 players in over 100 local tournaments.

Manago placed these systems inside a three-layer structure. The platform is the base. Automation, such as routing a site report for approval, is the second layer. AI is the third, and its job in the construction example is to flag a project that is drifting from its budget. He said companies that buy AI tools first have nothing for those tools to work on.

On timelines, BossLabs AI said focused systems take weeks and core business systems take about three months. Multi-company, multi-branch ERP builds with payroll, accounting, and approvals take more than three months. Clients sign off on every phase, and each system goes through a security audit and a Data Privacy Act review before launch. The company hosts, secures, and maintains the system afterward under a monthly Care Plan.

For owners with smaller budgets, the company runs a ₱999 weekly webinar and a weekend VibeCode Retreat that teach them to build their own apps.
