The Gateway Motors Group has taken over the operations of the Mercedes-Benz Cebu last Aug. 1 after it was appointed by the IC Star Automotive as the new principal dealer in the province.
Gateway is a stalwart in the local automotive industry and it is in Cebu where it started their initial operations. IC Star Automotive, meanwhile, is the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and vans in the Philippines.
The new management is honoring all service commitments, warranties, and aftersales arrangements as it pledges seamless support to all Mercedes-Benz customers in Cebu.
As part of it plans to promote the brand not only in the province but in the whole region, Gateway is coming up with a grand pop-up display that started last Wednesday (Aug 6) at the popular Nustar Resort and Casino.
“We are inviting all the Mercedes-Benz customers and enthusiasts to join us at Nustar as we celebrate the iconic brand on display. All the inquiries will be entertained by our efficient officers at the said venue,” said Michael Goho, the executive vice president of the Gateway Motors Group. Michael also said that the aftersales operations will continue and Mercedes-Benz customers will be served continuously.
He added that “we are eager to capitalize on more opportunities for Mercedes-Benz in the place where we trace our humble roots.”
The said display will stay at the Nustar Resort and Casino until the new Mercedes-Benz Cebu office is finished at the Ouano Ave, NRA, in Mandaue. As of now, Michael said the temporary service center is at V. Rama cor. Pablo Abella Streets in Cebu City to serve all the Mercedes-Benz customers all week long.
