Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI) and the Pasig City local government held the first ever Road Safety Summit at the Pasig Rainforest Park to develop road safety mindset and riding and driving proficiency among road users for the protection & welfare of the society.
Present were HFI president and concurrent president of Honda Parts Manufacturing Corp. Seiji Fujimoto, HFI board of trustees headed by Honda Philippines, Inc. president Sayaka Arai-Hattori and Honda Trading Philippines Ecozone, Corp. president Masanao Shikanai, Pasig Representative Roman Romulo, Pasig City officials.




The fun-filled learning experience was participated by more than 500 road users comprising of motorcycle and automobile enthusiasts such as riders’ club, LGU employees, traffic enforcers, TODA, students, and families visiting the Pasig Rainforest Park that day.
Fujimoto emphasized the importance of collaboration between the private sector and the government in mitigating the rising number of traffic-related road crash. Highlighting that as a mobility company with diverse products and services, Honda wants to move people physically and their hearts through the value that Honda provides. These statements were likewise highlighted in the message of HPI president Sayaka Arai-Hattori.
Rep. Romulo, on the other hand, expressed appreciation and support to HFI’s advocacies especially its program of instilling road safety mindset to every Pasigeños with the goal of protecting the lives of people in the community.
