Honda Cars Philippines will soon be introducing the new HR-V RS e:HEV, its third hybrid model in the market after the CR-V and the Civic in getting closer to their goal for carbon neutrality by 2050 and plans to inaugurate four new dealerships within this year.
This was revealed by HCPI president Rie Miyake during its Media Thanksgiving Party last week in Makati where the two new Honda hybrid vehicles were displayed.
“We will soon be holding a consumer launch event of the New HR-V, and in the next few months, the new HR-V will also make its way to your favorite Metro Manila shopping malls. I would like also to take this opportunity to announce that our dealers are ready to take reservations of the New HR-V within this month,” Miyake said.
Miyake revealed that a total of 1,200 units of the CR-V RS e:HEV showing the customer’s acceptance of its hybrid products. “With the CR-V and the New Civic, we have already started to provide an e:HEV lineup. Thank you very much for supporting our electrification journey up to now, we hope you will see through every step of the way with us,” she said.
As for the new dealerships, Miyake said that: “We are also happy to share that we will continue the expansion of our dealer network, bringing our services and products closer to customers all over the country. This 2025, we plan to inaugurate 4 new dealerships, namely, Honda Cars Talisay, Honda Cars Manila Bay, Honda Cars Tacloban, and Honda Cars Paranaque. May 2025 be a year of growth and prosperity for us all. We look forward to spending another year with you and working together for the Power of Dreams – How We Move You.”
Honda closed out 2024 with over 15,000 units sold with the BR-V maintaining its status as the best-selling model with over 5,000 units sold. This is followed by the value-packed City sedan with over 3,000 units sold and the CR-V with almost 1,800 units sold. The CR-V saw a 51% increase in its year-on-year sales, 25% for the City Hatchback, and 18% for the HR-V as compared to 2023.
