The new 2024 Isuzu D-Max, a pickup truck designed to revolutionize the market with its unparalleled combination of power, durability, and cutting-edge features, had its grand launch last week at the Central Atrium of SM Mall of Asia.
Isuzu Philippine Corporation proudly unveiled the various D-Max variants and several IPC officials, led by its president Tetsuo Fujita, took turns in presenting the various features and capabilities of its newest offering.


A special Isuzu 4×4 Action Playground test drive activity was also set up during the weekend, highlighting the vehicle’s excellent off-road capabilities and new safety features as tested by the long line of enthusiasts.
The Isuzu D-Max has been synonymous with reliability, durability, and fuel efficiency since its debut in 2023. The 2024 model has the latest technological and safety advancements to become the “game changer” in the pickup segment,
“Over the years, we have continuously introduced numerous advancements to the D-MAX, all the while ensuring that it remains true to its core values, whilst evolving to meet the needs and desires of our customers. This latest evolution is the product of listening to the feedback of our customers and dealers, integrating their insights into the design and functionality of this new model,” said IPC president Tetsuya Fujita.
Several other international officials of Isuzu were present and they were headed by Junya Fujiwara, the president of Isuzu Motors International Operations Thailand.
At the heart of the new Isuzu D-MAX is the reliable 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engine that delivers a powerful 190PS of maximum power and 450N-m maximum torque. The top of the line D-MAX LS-E – 3.0 4×4 LS-E AT costs P1,945,000 while the entry level D-MAX LT – 3.0 4×4 LT MT is at P1,299,000.
