LANDBANK and the City Government of Naga have partnered to launch new joint initiatives aimed at boosting local entrepreneurs and government employees through expanded financing, business development support, and digital financial services. Formalized on July 24, 2026, by LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz and Naga City Mayor Leni G. Robredo, the collaboration introduces the LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program and the rollout of the LANDBANK eCard.
The LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program provides affordable capital ranging from ₱100,000 for start-ups up to ₱50 million for established enterprises, coupled with lower interest rates and longer repayment terms compared to private lenders. Beyond financing, the program delivers business management training, financial education, digitalization support, and AI-enabled credit solutions developed alongside the DICT to help local businesses scale and compete effectively.
For public sector efficiency, the City Government of Naga has adopted the LANDBANK eCard system to convert standard payroll accounts into multifunctional cards that function as both official employee IDs and ATM cards. This initiative builds on previous inclusion efforts in the city, such as onboarding nearly 500 solo parents into the formal banking system for secure government aid distribution, thereby driving regional economic growth and digital transformation.
