Malampaya Onshore Gas Plant marks 25 years of Goal Zero safety

The Malampaya Onshore Gas Plant (OGP) in Tabangao, Batangas City, has achieved a landmark milestone by completing 25 years without a recordable safety incident or major process safety event. Since September 28, 2001, the facility has consistently maintained its “Goal Zero” record—a commitment by operator Prime Energy to protect workers, local communities, and the environment. This exceptional standard has been preserved despite ongoing continuous operations, complex upgrades, and large-scale maintenance turnarounds supporting the Malampaya Deep Water Gas-to-Power Project.
