Marian Rivera to win Best Actress at 41st PMPC Star Awards for Movies?

After being snubbed in the nomination stage alone which many wondered why for the 48th Gawad Urian of the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino (MPP) for her performance in the movie “Balota,” directed by Kip Oebanda, Marian Rivera has scored a nominee’s seat as Best Actress at the 41st Star Awards for Movies of the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC).

Incidentally, all of Marian’s opponents in the movie press’ awarding were no nominee either at the critics’ choices, namely Kathryn Bernardo for “Hello, Love Again,” Vilma Santos for “Uninvited” and Judy Ann Santos for “Espantaho.”

Would Rivera win the award on November 30, 2025 at the Makabagong San Juan Theater in Pinaglabanan, San Juan City and vindicate her non-inclusion at Urian despite the common impression on acting ability in her film project?

Let’s see what happens.
