NCSC, MOP launches biggest-ever online seniors’ database registration in Manila

The National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) in cooperation with a civic group based in Manila held the biggest-ever online database registration activity here on Friday. 

More than a thousand senior citizens from the 5th District of Manila and adjacent barangays showed up at the venue to personally register online with the assistance of MOP encoders and NCSC team of IT experts and coordinators. 

NCSC Online Senior Citizens database registration program architect Chairman Franklin Quijano was the event’s guest of honor and keynote speaker. 

The whole day activity aims to register at least 2,000 senior citizen registrants within the day. 

Much help was generated by hundreds of volunteers from Mahra Outreach Program (MOP) which aims to help indigent senior citizens of Manila. 

Led by humanitarian activist and civic leader Mahra Tamondong, the group assists Manila residents get back to its feet after the Covid 19 pandemic, is now focusing its sights in helping the NCSC with its online database registration program.
