Nissan Philippines introduced its two most iconic models – the all-new Nissan Z and the new GT-R – in a sizzling launch recently at the podium parking lot of the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Paranaque City.
Thousands of guests who braved the driving rains to watch the movie “Gran Turismo” earlier were herded later into the parking lot right beside the cinema that was transformed into a huge display of souped-up Nissan cars from various car clubs.
It was there where Nissan Philippines president Juan Manuel Hoyos officially unwrap the two car models. “We are thrilled to introduce the All-New Nissan Z and the New Nissan GT-R to our passionate and dedicated fans in the Philippines. These represent the culmination of Nissan’s legacy of innovation, blending cutting-edge technology with the spirit of our iconic vehicles. Whether you’re seeking heart-pounding performance or a thrilling driving experience, these models deliver on every front.”
The new Nissan GT-R is now available at P12,445,000 in these various colors – Gun Metallic, Bayside Blue, Pearl White, Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, and Ultimate Silver. On the other hand, the All-New Nissan Z will be available for reservation starting on Sept. 21 at P3,888,000 and will come in Ikazuchi Yellow, Passion Red, Everest White, Boulder Gray Pearl, Seiran Blue, and Black Diamond Pearl.
These latest iterations showcase the brand’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design, performance, and technology, while paying homage to the brand’s rich motorsports heritage.
The new Nissan GT-R has new features such as redesigned front and rear fascias. It not only highlights its aggressive aesthetics but also enhances downforce, taking the vehicle’s aerodynamics to new heights. These modifications not only elevate its striking appearance but also contribute to improved on-road stability.
Meanwhile, the all-new Nissan Z accelerates excitement to an entirely new level. The iconic headlights and tail lights, along with the 240z-inspired grille, create an unmistakable presence on the road. Under the hood, a powerful 3.0L turbo engine delivering 400hp and 475 Nm of torque roars to life, delivering an adrenaline-inducing performance that echoes the Z’s storied history.
It also comes with new technology features such as a rear view monitor, a digital dashboard on sport mode and front and rear sonar sensors. It is also equipped with the full suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, including new additions.
