‘Pasko in America 2025,’ a Filipino Christmas in the USA

On December 6, Pasko in America 2025 filled American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ with the warmth and joy of a Filipino Christmas, welcoming around 6,000 families and holiday shoppers across three levels of the mall.

Presented by Philippine Fiesta USA, Inc., the event transformed the venue into a festive Filipino village with parols, performances, community groups, and holiday traditions from the diaspora.

A highlight of the program was a message from Bergenfield Mayor Arvin Amatorio, who spoke about the growing civic and cultural impact of Filipino Americans in New Jersey. The day’s most talked-about moment came from the Clarkstown Tinikling ensemble, whose electrifying performance drew crowds on every level of the mall. The Arato Brothers also stood out with their 80s-inspired rock set, energizing both longtime fans and first-time listeners.

The celebration featured performances by Andrew Ace Greenspan, Aptoh Band, Bayani, Caleb Angelito, Chuck Kayvin, Cordillera Cultural Ensemble, GV Divine Divas of St. Vincent, Evangeline Pabalan, Oasis of Grace Church, Pepe & Jayjay, UP Alumni Rondalla, Zoe Erianna, and Ladies in Motion.

Exhibitors included AARP, Paysend, and Astoria Hotels & Resorts, whose Boracay and Palawan luxury sweepstakes drew strong interest. GMA Pinoy TV served as media partner.

Now in its third year, Pasko in America continues to offer Filipino families—many unable to travel home for the holidays—a place to reconnect and celebrate together.

During the program, producer Fernando “Nanding” Mendez also announced upcoming events:

• The 22nd People’s Ball – August 9, 2026 at Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott

• The 29th Fiesta in America EXPO – August 15–16, 2026 at American Dream, NJ
