Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the first-ever landport in the country, reached a remarkable milestone of 146 million overall foot traffic since its inception which highlights the company’s consistent growth, popularity, and unwavering commitment to deliver exceptional experiences to the commuting public.
“We are thrilled to have reached 146 million overall foot traffic since we started operations,” said Jason Salvador, Corporate Affairs and Government Relations head of PITX. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the support of our valued customers. We are excited to continue on this trajectory and are confident that we will surpass 150 million overall foot traffic this end of June.”
PITX attributed its success to a combination of innovative offerings and strategic initiatives designed to enhance the visitor experience and continually evolved to meet the changing needs and preferences of its customers, ensuring a memorable and satisfying experience with every visit.
Starting June 13, theSolid North will operate new routes to Dagupan and San Carlos, Pangasinan while on June 14 Victory Liner will start the new route to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Upcoming projects and initiatives will include the new routes to Dagupan, San Carlos, and Tuguegarao City.
PITX’s office towers operations will introduce the new headquarters of DENR MIMAROPA and DENR EMB CALABARZON, bringing increased business activity and economic growth to the area.
The PITX is the country’s first-ever landport, a multimodal transport hub in the Philippines, aiming to improve the overall commuting experience of Filipinos by providing seamless interconnectivity between different modes of public transportation. It is operated by MWM Terminals, Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide under a 35-year Build-Transfer-Operate contract with the Department of Transportation.
