Leading telecommunications and digital-services company Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) celebrated the beautiful blooms of Baguio City by participating in the 2017 Panagbenga Festival.
Highlights of the annual festival included the Grand Street and Grand Float parades on February 25 and 26 at the Baguio Athletic Bowl and Melvin Jones Football Grounds, respectively, drawing loud cheers from spectators; and students of various schools who joined in the streetdancing.
As one of the festival’s sponsors, PLDT made its presence felt throughout the event. PLDT Home made the event more vibrant by showcasing its new Home Fibr Plan 1699 with an exclusive Panagbenga offer at the Baguio Athletic Bowl and Ganza parking area during Exhibitors’ Day and Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio event.
Meanwhile, the company’s experiential Home Fibr lounge setup, located at the PLDT Sales and Service Center in Baguio’s Session Road, highlighted the different SmartHome security devices. These enable parents to monitor their children at home, online, and on the go, allowing everyone to enjoy added peace of mind at home with Fibr.
“We strive to create stronger connections by providing greater and faster internet speed to enrich the Panagbenga experience,” PLDT Baguio Customer Service Operations Zone Head John Marasigan said.
Showing its solidarity with the Panagbenga festivities, the PLDT Baguio office was beautifully landscaped and surrounded by various flowering plants. The company also hosted breakfast for its Baguio employees, in support of the city government‘s Session Road in Bloom event.
