The mother-daughter team of Gina Pareno and Raquel Pareno is an independent duo although the latter shares a namesake.
Gina is very much a senior actress while Raquel has been a Jane come lately.
The scion definitely works on her own.
“Meron akong sariling diskarte sa buhay (I have my way of doing things),” chuckled Raquel who is carving her own niche in show business.
At the moment, the audience might see the daughter just as struggling as any newbie in town but Raquel has proven her acting mettle in many teleseryes including “Triggered,” a plot point of “Magandang Dilag” and “Forever Young” and the weekly drama “Tadhana,” all of them GMA Network shows.
Like any other showbiz family, the partnership between Raquel and Fina is beyond personal and weaves life differently.
