Upgraded Honda Click125 a game-changer

The ever-popular Honda Click125 gets more stylish and packed with advanced features as Honda Philippines Inc., the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, finally revealed its upgraded version last Friday at the Acacia Hotel in Alabang.

Now refreshed with bolder styling, advanced features, and reliable everyday performancethe new Click125 is designed to elevate everyday riding by blending style, innovation, and performance into one refined package. Built around the concept “Game Changer Upgrade,” the latest Click125 speaks to riders who value confidence, efficiency, and individuality in their daily commute. 

“We are excited to introduce another important upgrade, the Click125. This model has long been a trusted partner for daily mobility, and now it comes with what we call a ‘Game Changer Upgrade.’ With its bolder design, smarter features, and dependable performance, the Click125 is built to support everyday riding, whether for work, school, or daily errands. It reflects Honda’s promise to continuously innovate, and to make everyday mobility better for our riders,” HPI president Takeshi Kobayashi said.

The Smart Edition sells for P86,900 while the Standard Edition goes for P82,400 and they are offered in various colors — Standard in Obsidian Black Metallic, Pearl Sylvestris Gray, and Pearl Arctic White while the Smart Edition comes in Matte Axis Gray Metallic and Matte Fresco Brown. 

At the heart of the Click125 is a 125cc, liquid-cooled, PGM-FI, eSP engine, engineered to provide smooth acceleration and consistent power delivery for daily urban use. Designed with efficiency in mind, the engine achieves an impressive 50.3 km/L fuel consumption rating based on WMTC method, supporting longer rides with fewer refueling stops.

It also features a refreshed and more aggressive design that enhances its visual impact on the road. A newly designed headlight and front winker assembly gives the scooter a stronger front presence, while the redesigned taillight adds a modern finishing touch to the rear. Light distribution was optimized to improve long-distance visibility by making the illumination wider and faster.

Completing the design update is a styled Digital Meter Panel that enhances the overall rider dashboard experience. The Click125 delivers improved visibility, longer lighting lifespan, and a bold, futuristic expression that stands out in both daytime and nighttime riding conditions.

Safety and control are integral to the Click125’s riding experience as it is equipped with a Combined Brake System that distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels when the left brake lever is applied. This feature supports more balanced braking and helps riders maintain stability during sudden stops.

Further enhancing braking performance is the front wavy disc brake, designed to deliver consistent stopping power and improved heat dissipation. Together, these systems provide riders with greater confidence and reassurance, particularly in busy city environments where responsive braking is essential.

The Click125 integrates advanced features that support a more convenient and connected riding experience. Exclusive to the Smart Edition variant, the Smart Key System allows riders to start the motorcycle without using a conventional key, offering added ease and security.

Also exclusive to the Smart Edition variant is the Idling Stop System, which automatically switches off the engine after the motorcycle remains stationary for three seconds and smoothly restarts it with a simple throttle twist. This system helps reduce fuel consumption during stop-and-go traffic, contributing to improved fuel efficiency. 

To meet the needs of today’s on-the-go riders, the Click125 is equipped with a USB Type-C Charger, enabling convenient and faster charging of smartphones and other devices while riding.

Practicality is further enhanced by the 18-liter luggage box, offering ample storage space for a helmet and other everyday items. This added convenience makes the Click125 well-suited for daily commuting and errands, reinforcing its role as a versatile urban mobility partner.
