Soroptimist International (SI), an international women’s organization designed to empower and to equip women with accelerated skills and mental faculties, has just bestowed honors to outstanding officers, members and veterans nationwide at the Ayala Alabang Country Club in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City recently.
One of the distinctive awardees was Florivic Relles Lizano of SI Lopez, Quezon.
Relles Lizano was awarded 3rd Runner-up for Outstanding Proactive Member of SI of Americas-Philippines Region.
Florivic personally accepted the award and thanked SI Lopez President Almira Almie Vasquez Pulon and SI Lopez District Director Georgia Marjorie Averion Villegas for their constant support and encouragement.
Florivic also thanked her daughter, SI Lopez Vice President Clara Relles Lizano for helping with the write-up. “I would also like to thank Soroptimist International of Lopez for the nomination and for always inspiring me to serve with heart,” quipped Relles Lizano.
Meanwhile, one of the sidelights of the event was the birthday celebration of one of SI Americas-Philippines Region active officers and prime movers Lady Datin Lourdes Salinas de la Cruz Stutely.
