QUEZON CITY, Philippines— Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC) altogether launched a scholarship partnership that will allow young artists to pursue their education while continuing to build their careers in the entertainment industry, reflecting both organizations’ shared commitment to developing well-rounded individuals and future leaders. The first batch of Sparkle scholars includes Angel Cadao (Incoming Grade 10), Sabrina Cuervo (Incoming Grade 9), Lauren King (Incoming College), and Kayla Davies (Incoming Grade 9). Additional scholars Kzhoebe Baker, Aya Domingo, and Meg Montgomery were also welcomed into the ICC community.
“At ICC, we believe that quality education should be accessible to everyone,” said Marcelino Agana, President of Immaculada Concepcion College. “Through this partnership with Sparkle, we hope to support young talents not only in their artistic journeys, but also in becoming well-rounded individuals guided by strong values.” The ceremonial signing was attended by ICC’s executive team Marcelino Agana, Ferdinand De Leon, Paola Cambel, Elimore Abad, Marcelo Batiduan and Hazel Mea, along with Sparkle executives Jenny Donato, Vic Del Rosario, Tracy Garcia and Jan Navarro. Sparkle’s First Vice President, Joy Marcelo, emphasized “At Sparkle, we are committed to nurturing talents beyond their careers in entertainment. Education plays a crucial role in shaping their future, and we are grateful to ICC for opening doors that will allow our artists to continue learning while pursuing their dreams.”
