Succesful 1st UAAGI Thanksgiving Cup

The United Asia Automotive Group,Inc. (UAAGI) successfully held its very first UAAGI Thanksgiving Cup last Feb. 16 the North Course of Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo, Rizal.

The well-attended whole day affair was hosted by UAAGI chairman Rommel Sytin who expressed his appreciation by promising to make it a yearly event. “We are really very happy with your presence today and we hope you enjoyed and had fun. I think we need to make this a yearly event and we hope you can join us again next year,” Sytin said.

Rommel was joined by UAAGI team that included his brother Kenneth, the UAAGI vice chairman, Chery Auto Philippines managing director Froilan Dytianquin, Foton Motor Philippines general manager Levy Santos, and newly-appointed marketing executive and senior vice president for Foton and Chery Lyn Manalansang-Buena.

UAAGI was founded in 2006 and it is the official distributor of around 10 best-selling brands such as Foton, Chery, and UK-brand Mutt Motorcycles Philippines. It is also an affiliate of various brands in diverse industries such as United Auctioneers Inc. and ACEA Subic Beach Resort.

A total of six UAAGI vehicles were offered as hole-in-one prizes in the six par-3 holes disputed, but none of them were claimed by the participating golfers that included dealer partners, bank officials, media practitioners, celebrities, and friends.

After the fun at the golf course, the participants were treated to a hearty lunch at the clubhouse where the raffle draw – with a Mutt motorcycle as the grand prize – and awarding of winners were made.
