Superstar Nora Aunor dies

Actor Kristoffer Ian de Leon has announced the passing of her mom, Superstar Nora Aunor yesterday, April 6  2025.

“With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Nora C. Villamayor “Nora Aunor” who left us on today April 16, 2025 at the age of 71.

“She was the heart of our family — a source of unconditional love, strength, and warmth. Her kindness, wisdom, and beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be missed beyond words and remembered forever.

“Details to be announced tomorrow,”  Kristoffer Ian, the eldest son of Nora and Christopher de Leon posted on his Facebook wall.

De Leon added his heartfelt thoughts on his mother.

“We love you Mom.. god knows how much we love you.. Rest now, Ma… You are just here in our hearts and minds..,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ken Villamayor, Nora’s kin also expressed his sadness over the death of his mother.

“Ma, i love you so much! Thank you so much po sa lahat lahat because kung di po dahil sayo di po ako andito (for everything because if not for you I wouldn’t be here). I know you’re in good hands now with our Jesus Christ. You’ll always be in our hearts forever. I love you sooo much!”
