MAKATI CITY, Philippines — Taiwan’s growing popularity among Filipino travelers took center stage at the Taiwan Tourism Workshop 2026 held at Makati Diamond Residences, bringing together tourism stakeholders, travel agencies, airline partners, government representatives, and members of the media from both Taiwan and the Philippines.
Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration through the Taiwan Tourism Information Center (TTIC) in Manila, the workshop served as a platform for industry players to exchange insights, explore business opportunities, and strengthen tourism partnerships between the two destinations.
Welcoming guests to the event, Ms. Cindy Chen, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, underscored the importance of collaboration between Taiwan and Philippine tourism stakeholders. She highlighted Taiwan’s commitment to developing new travel experiences and strengthening engagement with the Philippine market through initiatives such as the Taiwan 100 Waves campaign, which encourages travelers to discover Taiwan through diverse and personalized experiences.
