“The Triton is not only a truck but the answer of Mitsubishi for a total mobility in the country,” said the MMPC president Takeshi Hara during his speech.
An off-road simulation track was constructed inside the huge venue during the 3-day event where guests feasted their eyes on all the Triton variants displayed from morning to evening. They were also got to test drive them on the road to get a first-hand experience of its driving performance and comfort.
Two-Time Dakar Rally champion (2002 and 2003) and Team Director of Team Mitsubishi Ralliart Hiroshi Masuoka gave those who were brave enough to have a “taxi-ride” with him at the off-road track. Masuoka personally offered them exclusive thrilling rides where he demonstrated Triton’s prowess and adrenaline-pumping off-road adventure like no other.
Families were also able to enjoy the event as MMPC prepared lots of engaging activities and prizes daily. Food and beverage stalls were available at the event as well while a live band performed during the last two days – Imago on Jan. 27 and Rocksteddy on Jan. 28.
