SM Foundation conducted medical missions in two municipalities of Cebu province recently: in Consolacion and San Fernando. These medical missions afforded residents of the municipalities to avail of free medical, dental and laboratory services. The SM mobile clinic was dispatched to help in the medical missions.
SM City Consolacion, the second SM Supermalls in the province of Cebu was venue of one medical mission with 594 services dispensed. Of this number medical consultation had the most patients at 411. Dental services numbered 60; sugar test, 31; uric acid test, 23; cholesterol test, 32; and hemoglobin test, 9.
A medical and dental mission was also held in San Fernando to coincide with SM Foundation’s turnover of a renovated health center to the local government unit. For the San Fernando medical mission, a total of 531 services were rendered. These are medical, 329; dental, 54; sugar test, 28; uric test, 23; cholesterol test, 38; x-ray, 19, ECG, 39; and one hemoglobin test.
