For millions of netizens around the globe, the name Seann Miley Moore rings a bell because if you log on to YouTube and play his musical videos, not only hundreds of thousands but millions watch his performances.
This prompts us to reintroduce Seann Miley Moore to you.
Seann Miley Moore is a Fil-Briton singer who has made quite an impressive presence some years back in the world famous TV talent search “The X Factor” in London where he wowed such judges as Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora. Seann sang covers like Carpenters’ “A Song for You” and Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.”
Seann went back to the UK to renew his ties with his British family after many years of living in Indonesia and Australia where his dad was assigned to work one after the other, naturally adapting and living with him, mom and sister.
“The X Factor” was a memorable gig where he also met fellow Filipino quartet, the “Fourth Impact” which placed fifth in its 12th Season.
Fortunately, before the COVID-9 pandemic raged the world over, Moore went back to Australia and finally decided to audition for “The Voice Australia” where he passed it with flying colors.
In the competition proper, Seann sang “The Prayer” which catapulted him to the semi-final round.
Rita, from London, flew to Sydney to judge the Australian franchise a few weeks ago and was once again mesmerized by Seann’s performance.
In the semi-finals, Moore was coached by famous Indonesian-Aussie singer Jessica Mauboy and was given “Lonely,” a Justin Bieber song to interpret. Although Jessica was obviously delighted by Seann’s interpretation, he lost the round.
It was at this point that Ora clashed with Jess in her choice of Moore’s piece. In writer Bianca Mastroianni’s news story in news.com.au, Rita agreed with fellow judge Keith Urban’s opinion that he expected a different song from Seann which should have fitted his voice and performance.
Ora quipped: “I feel like this wasn’t the right song for him. I love his theatrical side. He should have shown his power, he should have shown his strength and he should have been really who Seann Miley Moore is. I have a history with Seann. He was on a show in the UK that I was on, and I watched him blossom and find himself. I would love to see him one last time.”
