2GO, the Philippines’ largest integrated transportation and logistics provider, has partnered with SMX Convention Center, Central Business Park (CBP), and SM Estates to establish 2GO-SMX Events Logistics. Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), this centralized system is designed to streamline event operations, simplify permit processing, and ensure the seamless movement of cargo within the Mall of Asia Complex.
Under the new one-stop service model, 2GO will act as a single point of contact by facilitating permit applications, coordinating endorsements with SM Estates, processing submissions with CBP, and providing end-to-end logistics support throughout ingress, operations, and pull-out activities. This framework significantly reduces administrative workload and minimizes delays for organizers, contractors, and exhibitors.
Key executives—including 2GO Forwarding Business Unit Head Faye Alonzo, SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation SVP Walid Wafik, SM Estates SVP Jessel Kabigting, and CBP President Erickberth Calupe—highlighted that the collaboration successfully combines regulatory compliance with world-class operational efficiency to deliver enhanced, hassle-free event experiences.
