Property consultancy firm Leechiu Property Consultants (LPC) has forged a strategic alliance with CBRE Group Inc., becoming the latter’s preferred provider for brokerage and consulting services for its clients in the Philippines.
The alliance is envisioned to benefit the Philippine real-estate industry, considered one of the most dynamic in Asia. As the world’s largest commercial real-estate services and investment firm, CBRE enjoys natural synergies with Leechiu Property Consultants, which has a solid track record, deep knowledge, and strong relationships in the country.
Leechiu Property Consultants has a wide network of local and international clients, including occupiers/tenants, landlords, property developers and investors, and has arranged more than 2 million square meters (21.5 million square feet) of office-leasing transactions and more than P100 billion ($2.1 billion) of investment sales transactions.
“This is an exciting time for the real-estate industry. The alliance brings us closer to being the No. 1 real-estate brokerage business in the country by 2017. It will definitely strengthen our capabilities and will pave the way for new possibilities for our clients. With our team of professionals, we are fully committed to delivering superior value and providing exceptional real-estate solutions to our partners and clients,” Leechiu Property Consultants CEO David Leechiu said.
The alliance will come into effect in January 2017. While Leechiu Property Consultants and CBRE are in alliance, the latter will continue to independently operate their facilities and property-management and project-management businesses locally. The arrangement does not involve financial investment or transfer of ownership or control. Leechiu Property Consultants and CBRE remain wholly independent and separate organizations.
