Valenzuela mayor Wes Gatchalian spearheaded the return of the Valenzuela Auto Show that showcased more than 100 meticulously curated cars last June Saturday at the parking lot of Puregold Valenzuela.
Although it’s only a one-day show, Mayor Gatchalian insisted that it served its purpose of uniting all the car enthusiasts in the city into one major day of meeting up with one another.
“We would like to thank all our sponsors together with the men and women who contributed a lot to make this event a huge success,” the mayor said as he emphasized its importance as part of the city’s 400th founding anniversary celebration this coming November.
Mayor Gatchalian added that a motorcycle event will be held soon as part of the city’s celebration as he also cited the motorcycles’ contribution to the city.
Now on its third year, the Valenzuela Auto Show was established in 2014 to highlight the automotive excellence of talented Filipino car enthusiasts especially those from the city of Valenzuela.
This year’s majors sponsors were JSK Custom Paint and Auto Works, Cleanfuel, Puregold Priceclub, and Motul.
Mayor Gatchalian was joined by former Valenzuela councilor and former racing “wunderkid” Tyson Sy, Cleanfuel president Bong Suntay, JSK big boss Johnson Tan, and several other organizers and car groups during the press conference later in the afternoon.
