Popular NWow E-bikes Success Story

NWow made a grand rebranding with the introduction of new and exciting commercial electric bikes and a new logo to a big special crowd gathered last week at Luzon & Mindanao Ballroom of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

Now boasting of 261 authorized dealerships all over the country, NWow already has three major plants in the country that are churning out seven major products and 27 models.

NWow corners around 50 percent of the e-bike market in the country and is aiming to sell 200,000 e-bikes by 2025.

Among the newest in the lineup are the NWow EMC Golf cart that is expected to be a hit in this golf-crazy country that can carry four persons at a cost of only P98,900 per unit; the NWow ERVS3 3-rider commercial e-bike; the NWow WSP scooter; and the NWow ERV2 single-rider commercial e-bike.

NWow, now sporting a new logo, is an interesting success story for a Chinese businessman who explored the local business landscape in 2010.

Dingwu Kang, chairman of NWow China, started with a single e-bike store in Vigan, Ilocos Sur that sold the then unknown and untested electric bikes. His consistency in giving quality e-bikes and after-sales concerns on his customers earned him popularity throughout the region in no time.

Now with 261 dealerships, Kang said NWow is expected to hit its target of 300 or more outlets before the year ends. “We would like to thank our loyal customers since they are the ones who promoted our products through words of mouths in their neighborhood until it goes around the localities and several other cities and provinces in the country. Our customers could attest to the quality of e-bikes that we had sold to them and the quality of services that we had extended to them through years,” he said.

Kang added that they also have to thank the government for extending to them the necessary help in expanding their business here in the country. “E-bikes are never heard in this country before until NWow introduced them way back in 2010. Through the support of the government, we now have three major plants here where our e-bikes are manufactured and supporting more than 22,000 people through our business,” he said.
