The CEO and president of the Lhuillier Group of Companies sits as the chair of the company. Meanwhile, Alex is a seasoned sales and marketing executive having been the former head of ad and sales for TV5 and Cignal. On the other hand, Alvin serves as the president and has a long experience in being a diplomat in Taiwan and in public relations having been the Foton dealer development head for 10 years. It all started from a simple dinner with partners and they eventually decided to pursue the dream of starting a construction firm.
Alvin’s wide experience in the mobility business gave them a good head-start in the construction and general contracting business as the company entered into building several automotive infrastructures that gave them the needed boost and recognitions.
Although its first project was that in Ayala Greenfield, JAS considered its renovation of the Hyundai Pasong Tamo as it first major automotive project. In under six months, they transformed it into the very first vehicle dealership in the country to adopt the new-look design for Hyundai showrooms in the entire Asia-Pacific region.
“That somewhat started a spark for JAS during our early days. We didn’t face a lot of challenges during the renovation of Hyundai Pasong Tamo because JAS fully understood the requirements of 3S dealerships. We finished it in just six months and Hyundai is very much satisfied. We can say that we passed with flying colors in that particular aspect,” Alvin said.
Then came the project for the construction of the Geely Naga service area, followed by that of Subaru dealership showroom in Bulacan and some outlets of different automotive brands in Luzon.
But since JAS boasts of its technical team comprised of seasoned architects, engineers, and interior designers, it is now focuses on residential, with a specialization in hospitality and resort construction. In fact, JAS now has various projects in El Nido, Coron, Camiguin, Dumaguete, Bicol, Boracay, Negros Oriental, Pangasinan, Siargao, and Batangas area.
