Three-pronged collaboration is the design of the latest television commercial (TVC) of Lito Lapid and his co-star in the primetime action-drama “Batang Quiapo” of ABS-CBN, Coco Martin.
Even if it is subliminally reselling “Batang Quiapo” with a working title of “Supremo” to make appear a literary narrative or actually a direct political campaign, the essence of the team-building of Lito and Coco is casual unity, easily relatable to the market (read: televiewers/voters).
What is more revealing about the ad is the presence–albeit invisible onscreen—of Mark Lapid, one of the sons of Lito.
