Ford Philippines officially entered the new electric vehicle market with the unveiling of its two newest vehicles last week – the all-new Mustang Mach-E and new Territory Hybrid — at the Ford Island Conquest at the Bonifacio Global City Amphitheater in Taguig City.
The All-New Mustang Mach-E and New Territory Hybrid spearheaded the Ford vehicle line-up on display during the 3-day weekend with over P4-million worth of cash discounts and prizes were up for grabs for customers reserving a Ford vehicle.
“We are excited to be bringing our newly-launched electrified Ford vehicles – the All-New Mustang Mach-E and New Territory Hybrid alongside our Ford line-up – closer to the Filipino motoring community for them to see and experience their amazing features. On top of this, we remain committed to add more value to the Ford vehicle purchase with exciting deals and offers that our customers can enjoy,” said Ford Philippines’ managing director Pedro Simoes, managing director.
The full-electric All-New Ford Mustang Mach-E combines electric power, modern driving technology, signature design cues, and a legendary driving experience. It carries the Mustang brand that has stood for freedom, performance, and individuality forward and delivers the unmistakable Mustang spirit via a zero-emission package.
“The Mustang Mach-E is one of the most exciting vehicles Ford has ever introduced. This purpose-built all-electric vehicle is unique, unmistakably a Mustang, and with a leading-edge driving range coming at exactly the right time for the growing Mustang enthusiast community in the country,” Simoes added.
Ford Philippines is offering the Mustang Mach-E Premium All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant in the country and is available at P3,499,000 in Glacier Grey, Star White, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, and Grabber Yellow colors. Buyers will get a free 3.5kW portable charger and 7kW wall box charger.
Ford also marked its official entry into the hybrid electric vehicle segment with the launch of the new Ford Territory Hybrid, making the Philippines the first market in Ford’s International Markets Group (IMG) to offer the vehicle.
The Territory Hybrid comes in two variants, the Trend and Titanium X. The Trend provides the core hybrid powertrain and standard features designed for everyday driving while the Titanium X features larger alloy wheels, premium interior finishes, a panoramic moon roof, coast-to-coast LED Bar, and advanced driver-assist technologies.
“The Territory has been an important product for us since we launched it in 2020. Bringing in the newest hybrid variant is an important step for us as the market demand for electrified vehicles continues to grow. The Territory Hybrid builds on the strength of our popular SUV with a hybrid system that is refined and responsive. This is the kind of practical mobility innovation Filipino customers today are looking for, and we are ready to deliver it,” Simoes also said.
The Territory Titanium Trend is available at P1,399,000 while the Titanium X is available at P1,599,000.
Also present during the launch was the Ford International Markets Group product development & program management general manager Ziyad Dallalah who explained the various specs of the two newly-launched Ford vehicles.
