VinFast delivers 500 more taxi-cars to Xentro Motors

VinFast turned over 500 electric vehicles to Xentro Motors to accelerate the deployment of EV-powered ride-hailing fleet as it continues to strengthen its presence in the Philippine market

This milestone is part of VinFast’s broader plan to supply up to 1,000 VF e34 units to support Xentro’s expanding electric ride-hailing operations in Metro Manila. Reinforcing its commitment to advancing clean, accessible mobility solutions in the country, the Vietnam-born BEV automaker is also expanding its footprint in the corporate fleet sector, partnering with a growing number of Philippine companies seeking reliable, cost-efficient, and sustainable transport solutions.

This development comes amid the steady growth of electric vehicle adoption in the Philippines, driven by expanding infrastructure and increasing interest from both private and commercial sectors. Fleet electrification, in particular, is emerging as a key driver of EV uptake, as companies look to modernize operations while reducing long-term costs and emissions.

Xentro Motors is the automotive arm of Xentro Group of Companies, a Philippine developer known for Xentro Malls—a rising network of community malls and commercial centers with key presence in fast-growing cities nationwide. Xentro Malls boasts an extensive mall network equipped with charging hubs that aim to address infrastructure barriers for EV adoption in the Philippines.

Powered by Xentro Malls’ EV-ready infrastructure, Xentro Motors aims to help mainstream battery electric vehicles, making sustainable mobility more accessible to mall-goers and EV adoption more convenient for EV owners.

Last November, Xentro Motors inked a partnership deal with VinFast, which committed to supply Xentro with 1,000 units of VF e34. The BEV brand delivered 500 units in December and is expected to complete the delivery of the remaining units in March this year.

Designed as a compact electric crossover SUV for everyday urban mobility, the VinFast e34 delivers a smooth, quiet driving experience powered by an efficient all-electric drivetrain. Its balance of practicality and zero-emission performance makes it a natural fit for both personal use and high-utilization transport services.  The VinFast e34 is well suited for ride-hailing fleets, offering reliable electric performance for continuous urban driving. Its deployment within Xentro’s fleet demonstrates how VinFast’s EVs are designed not just for private ownership, but for real-world commercial environments where efficiency, durability, and scalability matter.

In addition to ride-hailing, VinFast’s electric vehicles are also steadily gaining ground in corporate fleet applications, as major Philippine corporations accelerate their shift toward more sustainable transport solutions. VinFast is now working closely with a growing roster of fleet partners – ranging from mobility operators to technology and utilities companies, positioning the brand as a trusted provider of reliable, efficient and sustainable EVs. Current partners include Goldfields Motorsales Inc., Marstel Philippines Inc, Meralco, Emviem Telephones Service, Ride Co, and Nerio Green.

“VinFast’s partnerships with key business fleets underscore the strength and versatility of our electric vehicle lineup. They’re built to deliver reliable, high-performance mobility across a wide range of operational needs. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to advocating for greater EV adoption in the Philippines and empowering more companies to transition to sustainable, future-ready transportation solutions,” said Toti Zara, the CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia.
