DEEPAL designates Autohub exclusive Philippine Distributor

DEEPAL is set to be introduced soon in the local market and Autohub Group is strengthening its push into next-generation mobility by marking a significant step in the company’s expansion within the electrified vehicle space.

Autohub was appointed the exclusive Philippine distributor of DEEPAL following a contract signing on January 14, 2025, formalized with Changan Auto Southeast Asia. The agreement establishes the foundation for the brand’s long-term development and market strategy in the country.

Positioned around intelligent systems, electrified powertrains, and modern design, DEEPAL reflects the industry’s shift toward smarter and more efficient mobility solutions. Its name, drawn from the concept of “Deep Blue,” signals a focus on depth, clarity, and technological progress.

“Bringing DEEPAL to the Philippines is part of our commitment to offer the next generation of mobility solutions. We are focused on brands that combine innovation, sustainability, and relevance to the everyday lives of Filipino drivers. DEEPAL embodies all of that, and we are excited to introduce it to the market,” said Autohub Group president Willy Tee Ten.

Tee Ten also said that DEEPAL aligns with its strategy to introduce forward-looking automotive brands that respond to evolving consumer demand and increasing interest in sustainable transport options.

Deepal Philippines, under the Autohub Group, will introduce two key DEEPAL models for the Philippine market — the Deepal S05, available in two variants such as the S05 REEV, which offers longer driving range and added flexibility for daily use, and the S05 BEV, a fully electric version designed for efficient city drivingand the Deepal G318, a REEV and off-road-capable SUV built to handle both urban roads and more adventurous terrain. The Deepal S07, a midsize SUV, is expected to arrive in the Philippines in the succeeding quarters.

DEEPAL is set to make its first major public appearance in the Philippines in April 2026, during the Manila International Auto Salon, where further details on the brand’s local rollout and direction will be revealed. As competition intensifies in the electrified vehicle market, Autohub’s move positions the group to play a more prominent role in shaping the next phase of automotive mobility in the Philippines.
