Marious Alston who?

Marious Alston, the actor and singer who has been around since the early 2010 when he was in the youth-oriented ABS-CBN show, “Luv U” with Kiray Celis. Miles Ocampo, Nash Aguas, among others with Edgar Mortiz at the helm.

But offers came in trickles although his spirit wasn’t dampened.

It was part of the struggle, he thought.

After Marious’ stint with Star Network, he went to real estate and became an instant billionaire and eventually held one of the highest posts in his property development company.

Because of this success, Marious won a Top Seller Award in the field of realty territory.

While doing real estate brokerage. Alston put up an events management agency and office supplies distribution and also made good at them.

In 2025, he reinvented himself as a musician on the side.

​Last year, he gathered his creative stamina, talked to composer Mon del Rosario (“Baliw,” “Isang Linggong Pag-ibig” etc.) and collaborated on Original Pilipino Music (OPM) pieces, “Munting Kaibigan,” a foray into a dependable and trustworthy friend and “Guwapo,” a hip and a Gen Z tune on the pertinent looks of a human person.

Both “Munting Kaibigan” and “Guwapo” were launched at Marious birthday bash last Saturday at Noctos Music Bar in Quezon City. (Boy Villasanta)
