Rafael Fernandez de Mesa was appointed as the new chief executive officer of Aboitiz Land Inc., the real estate arm of the Aboitiz Group, effective 1 January 2025.
He will succeed current president and CEO David Rafael, who will retire at the end of the year after leading Aboitiz Land for five years.
At present, he also holds various directorships within the Aboitiz Group, serving the boards of Aboitiz Land, Aboitiz InfraCapital and Aboitiz Construction.
With Fernandez de Mesa at the helm, Aboitiz Land said the company is poised to continue its growth trajectory as it plays a pivotal role in the Aboitiz Group’s mission to be the Philippines’ first techglomerate.
