Entertainment writers JC Nigado and Dindo Balares are rejoicing when the rains of May fall to cool the hot summer.
“Ang tawag d’yan, Agua de Mayo (We call it Waters of May),” quipped JC when raindrops fell on our roofs in San Pedro, Laguna over the weekend.
While in Bicolandia, Dindo thanks heavens for the rains dropped on his farm. “Agua de Mayo na sa San Francisco. Puwede nang iuwi ang mga pangtanim (It’s already Water of May in San Francisco. We can bring in the seedlings),” Dindo sounded happily.
Mayflower Festival is also the most anticipated occasion.
Santacruzan (a parade of Biblical characters like St. Helena with her son Constantinople and the sagalas—maidens—and their escorts etc.) is the main course of religious activities.
May is also supposedly the month wedding of actress Bea Alonzo and son of a rich tycoon, Vincent Co.
What is happening now in the scheduled Wedding of the Year in Spain where it was reported to have two wedding receptions in separate places, in a vineyard owned by the Cos and in a house bought and developed by Bea herself?
Nothing is heard of anymore about the grand plans?
The target date of the wedding is the third week of May and it’s now halfway to the end of the month.
Is it true that a prenuptial or a prenup arrangement was designed by the family of the future groom who maintains a billion-worth of properties in their favor?
What happens to the invitations already distributed earlier to the close friends of the couple?
According to the grapevine, Bea and Vincent have been talking to their kith and kin about the current state of their pre-wedding activities.
We hope everything turns out well for the loving couple.
