Patience and enormous talents have paid off in Beauty Gonzalez’s acting career.
After considerable years in the biz, Beauty’s thespic skills are being recognized here and abroad.
Gonzalez recently bagged the Best Actress trophy at the recently concluded Five Continents International Film Festival (FCIFF) for her arresting portrayal of a homecoming resident of a mystical town and how her sudden appearance changed a lot of conflicting attitudes in the community.
The film was “Paquil” directed by Lemuel Lorca where Beauty shared equal billing with actor JM de Guzman.
Meanwhile, “Paquil” also won a major award—the Best Fantasy Feature Film in the same fest.
FCIFF is an online and in-person film festival that regularly–as in monthly–acknowledges and awards outstanding creative works.
According to Archie DM, the screenwriter of the award-winning movie, “Paquil” is a testament that faith moves mountains and realizes dreams and aspirations. (Boy Villasanta)
