De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) celebrated the achievements of leading board examination passers at the inaugural Topnotchers’ Night held at the Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle in Manila.
The initiative, organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics, marks a new tradition in the institution.
The event was filled with an atmosphere of pride, as the community recognized the exceptional accomplishments of the top-performing students from the Architecture, Interior Design, and Real Estate Management Programs over the years.
Architect Harvey Vasquez, Dean of the School of Environment and Design, announced the alumni who aced the Architecture Licensure Examination: Louie Nathaniel Kiu, Francisco Eslira, Alexandra Alcorcon, Angelo Ezekiel Nuestro, Ria Angelica Zamudio, and Nielsen Bryan Uy.
He likewise recognized the talents who exhibited exemplary performance at the Interior Design Licensure Examination, namely Iris Adreana Bernabe, Rosa Isabelle Bracamonte, Noelle Samantha Bernardo, Kaitlin Almira Sy, Jerlyn Antinor, Kirk Cedrick Moaje, and Candice Arboleda.
Ma. Corazon Reyes, PhD, then OIC Dean of the School of Management and Information Technology, acknowledged those who excelled in their respective exams: Julienne Carly Saputil and Genalyn Christine Cruz for the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination, and Bill Clinton Esteban for the Real Estate Appraisers Licensure Examination (REALE).
The honorees received institutional medallions and lapel pins, as well as monetary gifts, which were presented by Benilde President Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC, Chancellor Benhur Ong, MBA, and Vice Chancellor for Academics Angelo Marco Lacson together with the respective program chairpersons.
The Top 1 placers were granted P200,000, whereas the Top 2 and Top 3 received P100,000. Finishers between Top 4 through 10 took home P50,000 each.
Soon after, the college once again honored Cruz and Saputil for ranking Top 5 and 9 in the April 2024 REALE, respectively. For this new feat, the alumnae received another set of medallions, lapel pins, and P50,000 each during the intimate ceremony organized by the Real Estate Management Program.
The college’s Interior Design Program is set to honor additional topnotchers Rosette Oliquiano Yabut, Carlo Martin Mecate, Catherine Millan, and Michaela Pangilinan.
This October, Benilde Antipolo will likewise recognize alumna Adriana Ysabela Javier, RPM, who finished Top 9 at the recently concluded August 2024 Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians. She will receive an institutional medallion and lapel pin, and a monetary prize of P50,000.
On behalf of his fellow awardees, Architect Kiu thanked the Christian Brothers community, whose support has been instrumental in their journeys.
