‘Best man for the job is a woman’

The BBM-Sara Uniteam insists they have the numbers – crowds at rallies and surveys – compared to Leni & Kiko.

If BBM’s crowds are bigger, why are popular Pinoy bands denying claims they accepted to perform at BBM’s rallies? They said “Hindi kami bayaran”.

If BBM’s crowds are bigger, why is there no drone shot? If ever there was one, the drone operator should reveal how much he was paid.

If BBM’s crowds are bigger, why do we not hear sincere testimonies of blind support to BBM from random participants?

So many poor Filipinos have been made to believe the alternative truth conjured by BBM’s camp. And it succeeded. Not a few supporters will accept historical facts based on concrete evidence:

• BBM has no major political accomplishment – as governor, congressman or senator
• BBM has an unpaid estate tax with the BIR
• BBM has no track record of outstanding public service
• The PCGG has identified and retrieved part of the Marcos ill-gotten wealth stashed abroad
• BBM has fake educational credentials
• The atrocities of Martial Law are real and cannot be revised
• The Marcos years is not the golden era of the country – refuted by credible economists, financial managers and historians
• The family of Marcos Sr. benefitted from the money they stole
• Bongbong is the spear-tip of a well-funded campaign to bring the Marcos back to Malacanang at whatever cost.

Why is Imee not actively supporting her brother? Where is Irene? Where is Imelda? They need a buffer to stay clear and dissociate themselves if the plan fails.

What Imee, Imelda and Irene should be worried is if Bongbong uses up all their family’s money.

They are not after money. They have lots of it. They want power.

Is the alternative better? At least Leni was clear at the very start. She wants to stop any Marcos from returning to power.

Leni’s public service track record is unblemished. Her simple lifestyle, as well as her daughters, is contradictory to that of BBM.

How BBM is able to weave a public perception that he is a good and effective leader is just that – perception. When the going gets tough, he’s gone.

For Leni, the best man for the job is a woman.
