By Riza Lozada

Cebuana Lhuillier has opened its first office in the Middle East, located at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), to provide remittances service to the Philippines as well as a liaison office for its partners in the region.

The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing international markets for Cebuana Lhuillier, Jean Henri Lhuillier, President and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier, said.

“We selected Dubai and the DMCC as the base for our operations in the Middle East, because it offers the ideal platform for Cebuana Lhuillier to extend our signature service promise to clients across the region.

It also brings us closer to our valued corporate partners, who play an essential role in our business model.  We look forward to working together to build on our existing relationships and to unlock new opportunities of mutual benefit.” said Philippe Andre Lhuillier, managing director, Cebuana Lhuillier Services DMCC.

“I am very happy to see the direction that the company is taking. It has always been my vision to serve the financially challenged Filipinos in the Philippines and abroad.

I’m so proud with the work Jean Henri and Philippe Andre are doing for the company,” said Ambassador Philippe Jones Lhuillier, chairman of Cebuana Lhuillier.

Cebuana Lhuillier’s remittance service was created to address the increasing need for a fast and reliable money-transfer service.

Clients can conveniently claim their money all the days of the week, with select branches operating on extended business hours, even for 24/7 period.
