What is the relationship of science and medicine to show business?
They are conduits for the betterment of humankind.
Take it from registered nurse Ramon Capanzana who dabbles as a concert producer in the US.
‘I am a nurse but I also dig show business not only by producing concerts in the US but also engaging in socio-civic activities that my productions could extend help as well,” said Capanzana in an interview after he touched down the Philippine soil recently.
Ramon has produced live shows in Texas, where he stays, for Gary Valenciano, Kuh Ledesma, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Carol Banawa, Apo Hiking Society and other visiting Filipino talents in the US.
Ture to his calling, Capanzana is again on his altruistic and creative pursuits by holding a seminar and testing sessions on diabetes while maintaining his health and wellness equilibrium through live entertainment management.
On Friday, March 14, 2025, Ramon, an alumnus of the Quezon Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (QMHSN) will embark on diabetic consultation in the grassroots through a diabetes educational outreach program the axiom “Diabetes ay Iwasan, Kaalaman ay Dagdagan.”
The diabetes orientation will be at 8:30 am at the Magsaysay Barangay Hall in Lopez, Quezon.
Capanzana, who chairs the seminar will be joined by two other Filipino US-based and one Filipino Saudi Arabia migrant nurses.
Meanwhile, Leyden V. Florido, a registered nurse and a certified diabetic educator will be the speaker and consultant in the program.
The seminar, which is free to the public, is on a first come, first served basis.
