The world’s leading information technology (IT) vendors recently gathered in Manila to present solutions to Philippine companies wanting to adopt the latest trends in big data and analytics.
“Data is the new currency for enterprises. An increasingly connected world produces more data in more places. The challenge for enterprises is first to bring all that data and second to gain insights that provide competitive advantage,” managing director of Computrade Technology Philippines Inc. Teddy Sumulong said.
Computrade is the local subsidiary of the PT. Computrade Technology International (CTI Group), Indonesia’s first IT infrastructure solution provider.
CTI has appointed Computrade to host the annual CTI IT Infrastructure Summit held in Manila last week (June 3) presenting the “The Future of Analytics, Beyond Big Data as its theme.
Executives from participating IT vendors—MapR, Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), F5 Networks, BlueCat, and SAS discussed before the forum their respective company profile and significant developments in IT.
CTI Group Director Rachmat Gunawan said, “we hope that the CTI IT Infrastructure Summit 2015 will provide an opportunity for companies in the Philippines to interact directly with technology evangelists, IT experts and providers of big data and analytics solutions that have extensive experience in helping companies in several countries generate value for their businesses through data and analytics.”
