DepEd Supplier’s Registry launched

The Department of Education (DepEd) has launched a Supplier’s Registry platform to fast-track the delivery of learning resources to public schools nationwide.

Following the first Suppliers’ Summit held from March 19 to 20, Education Secretary Sonny Angara underscored suppliers’ vital role in procurement reforms.

“Sa ating mga suppliers at bidders, hindi lang kayo negosyo. Kayo ay kaagapay po natin sa reporma (To our suppliers and bidders, you are not just for business. You are our partners in reforms),” he said.

The registry, accessible via https://suppliers.deped.gov.ph/, enables businesses to manage profiles, receive real-time procurement updates, and participate in bidding through a streamlined system. DepEd assured security measures, including supplier authentication and encrypted transactions.

Under Angara’s leadership, DepEd’s Early Procurement Activities (EPA) have awarded P1.9 billion worth of projects, including 64,000 laptops, TV packages, and 87 million learning modules.
